Powerant Oy is a Finnish company founded in 2023 that manufactures and imports spot electricity control devices. The products and software are designed in Finland.
During 2024, over 1,000 devices have been installed across Finland. A few devices have also made their way to Sweden, Estonia, and Latvia. We are pleasantly surprised by the popularity of our products and the positive feedback we’ve received.

Yes! Our core software and its basic features will always remain free. In the future, we may introduce some optional, premium features for new products that come with a fee. However, if you already own our products, you can be confident that they will continue to work without any additional charges.
Our manufacturing process is very stream-lined and automated. Manufacturing is made in bulk. We aim to build products that are affordable solutions for anyone looking to save in their electricity bill. Being number one manufacturer of spot electricity control devices in Europe is our goal.
We are in the process of building a native app for Android and IOS. Release is estimated to be in the spring of 2025. Our third generation of products will exclusively be added and controlled via the new mobile app.

Devices fetch electricity prices every hour of the day from Powerant servers in Finland. Our servers are located in a secure data center in Finland.
From our warehouse in Finland. Estimated time of arrival in Europe is 2-4 business days. We ship daily.
No, the devices are manufactured in China. We supply the intelligent WiFi-modules and software for the factory that assembles the product.
Spot Electricity Plug can be installed by anyone, but others require a licenced electrician to make the electricity installation.

Yes there is a REST API to remotely control devices. Developers can integrate the product to their own software. However, the API documentation is still in progress and will be released along a developer guide in the year 2025.
